This was a great one. Sharon has such a wonderful personality.

Ren, I’m nearly positive that’s Jimmy Cliff, “Many Rivers to Cross,” from The Harder They Come.

The postal strike marked the first and only time I’ve ever supported a piece of HarpCon legislation. The NDP pushed me three days closer to not being able to pay my rent with their filibuster. Freelancers won’t forget that.

Terrific interview. Sharon’s one of 18 artists in “Graphic Details: Confessional Comics by Jewish Women”, which opens at NYC’s Yeshiva University Museum on September 22, 2011. We’ve got some amazing early work of hers in the show, which I co-curated. Thanks, Inkstuds, for giving Sharon the appreciation she deserves.

  6. Great interview! I just know Sharon chose to start the podcast with Lotte Lenya singing “Pirate Jenny.” That’s so Sharon!
