Keith Jones

Cosmic Canadian Cartooning Cat lover, Keith Jones stops by for a chat about his epic comic, Catland Empire. It’s probably one the crazier comics I have read this year, so that means it’s great!

Gabby Schulz aka Ken Dahl

Gabby Schulz joined me for a lively chat about his Eisner nominated book Monsters. I really really liked this book. Very much in the same vein as Justin Green, with cartooning that can’t be beat.

Inkstuds Mixtape Vol 21 Michel Fiffe

inkstuds-mix-fiffe

Michel Fiffe is one of the founding dudes of the Act-i-vate comics collective and a mighty fine cartoonist himself. He did this mix quite a while ago, and I have been way too slow on posting it. Its a fine mix that needs to be listened to.

Michael DeForge

Part of my Toronto trip, was spent interviewing a couple of folks that who’s work is really exciting me right now. Michael DeForge is certainly near the top of my list of new creators doing amazing work. His first 2 issues of Lose have come out swinging with an eye for comics lore and stellar cartooning. This interview was conducted a couple of days before his much deserved Doug Wright award win. Go do yourself a favor and check out his livejournal for more info.
